The Rose Within
A man planted a rose and watered it faithfully, dreaming of the day it would blossom. Before the rose blossomed, he examined it. He was happy to see the bud that would soon blossom, but then noticed the thorns upon the stem.

Saddened by such thought, he felt it futile to water the rose anymore. And just before it was ready to bloom… the rose died.
